Our Covid FAQs
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and our team is of paramount importance. We are working and updating our systems and procedures in accordance with the Scottish Government and the recommendations from WHO. Whilst our primary concern is to keep everyone safe, we are doing our best to ensure that our guests have a great experience with us.
As per government guidelines, we have arranged our benches, tables and chairs 1 metre apart. We also introduced a one way system throughout the building. We will be continuously reviewing and updating our procedures relating to capacity as announcements are made.
Our team has been trained in maintaining a safe social distance at all times whilst moving through our outdoor spaces, bar and restaurant. We have built screens to support social distancing in our terrace areas and again this will be reviewed for inside, as any changes to guidelines are made.
We are asking all of our guests to work with us and use common sense to practice social distancing at all times. We would like to thank you in advance for supporting us in keeping both our guests and our team safe and well.

All benches, tables and chairs, alongside any items that have been touched will be fully sanitised before our next guests arrive.
Our host at The Raeburn will offer hand sanitiser as you enter the gates/doorway, before escorting you to your table. There will be various wall hand sanitiser stations throughout the building placed for our guests to use as they enter and exit different spaces.
Each section will have a dedicated team member of staff to look after all your needs.
We have carried a Covid -19 risk assessment and trained all of our staff on the new measures and procedures that we have put in place for them to have a safe working environment and to provide outstanding service and attention, whilst still abiding by our safety guidelines.
Each member of our team will self assess their temperature before coming to work.They will then be checked by our manager on duty before the start of their shift and on returning from scheduled breaks. These details will be logged and recorded.
Our menus are now available to view digitally using our Raeburn QR Code. We will also provide single use menus to any guests who can’t access a device. The QR Code will also be programmed to log details of guests for Track and Trace purposes, as per mandatory requirement set by the government.
All payments will be cashless and contactless using Apple pay or card.
All tables will be allocated one server for the duration of their visit with us.We ask that all guests stay at their allocated tables and do not visit other tables. We ask parents to ensure their children are beside them, at their table at all times.
